Since moving in together, Rick and I have many duplicate items around the house. Things like printers, TVs, microwaves etc. We tried to do the ‘right' thing and waited for the scheduled community recycle day to bring the things we are eliminating from our castle for recycling.

We drove to the recycle location, 20 miles from our home, we got in line and waited in our cars (idling crawling forward) for almost 2 hours!! Us and the 50 other's cars we saw in front or behind us in line. I am sure many more during the 5 hrs they were open. Is this really a good thing? Thinking about it now I might just put these items in my trash bin for weekly pickup next time.
