Mom and I annually get together for a late brunch (we are both NOT morning people). Afterward we go to St Mary's cemetery to visit the graves of some our family members, as rituals are cathartic and comfortable. And those graves need a bit of spring cleaning!

For our late brunch we try a new restaurant (just imagine that!) This year we ate at Cafe Maude.

Eggs benedict on crab cakes with a wonderful spring salad and asparagus

Yep had to try their bloody. It missed the mark a bit. Had a hot flavor, not really spicy but just hot, with a powerful limey background.
