My husband is a huge fan of the Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives! He blames it on me, saying I turned him on to it during a trip to Portland, OR. I wanted to visit the Byways Cafe. He asked why we needed to treck the 1.5 miles cross downtown on foot just for breakfast, I said I saw it on Triple D, it looked good and wanted to try it for myself. We enjoyed the Byways Cafe so much he started watching the show and the rest shall we say is history. He has started a few web sites (web building is his calling) based on the show. As well, we travel all around the country for various reasons but we will make time to stop at many of the Triple D locations across the country. It really has been a blast! So far we have our faves, Rick's is Burger Bar in Roy, UT mine is Ezra's (which honestly is another dive that the Chef of Sophia's Place opened down the street because he wanted to do a dinner hour!) in Albuquerque, NM. We have had quite a few adventures just trying to find great food in great places!
