Rick's sister Cheryl, knowing that we are both foodie people

Rick's sister Cheryl, knowing that we are both foodie people gave us a perfect Christmas gift of a gift cert to a new restaurant, at least to us. We enjoy eating out a lot and love new places to try so this was not easy finding a restaurant we had not tried and a good one as well!

Victory44 is located in the Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis. It touts itself a gastro-pub, sans servers and a frequently updated, proudly local menu. We started with the Scotch eggs and devils on horseback. The eggs were breaded and deep fried, different but very tasty. The devils on horseback though are a must! A date (I think stuffed with raisin) wrapped in bacon! Almost a dessert! Then we had the Fish and Chips and the Bangors and Mash. Neither of these were outstanding, just good. But then we discovered the dessert! It as a variety of treats, all very flavorful. A pre dessert tray and the dessert tray!! We will return!
